Alumni is a private network for former students of a school, aged 16 and over. It isn't open to the public: every new member must be vouched for by a batchmate or approved by a school admin before they can see or post anything, and each school's members only see their own school.
Every post, comment, photo, meetup, direct message, job listing, group and profile can be reported from its ⋮ menu. Reports go straight to that school's admins, who review them within 24 hours. Content that breaks our standards is removed, and the account is banned.
You can also block anyone from the same menu. Blocking is enforced on our servers, not just hidden on your screen: in both directions, a blocked person can't see your posts, comments or meetups, and can't message you.
If you see anything on Alumni that you believe endangers a child, report it in the app on the post, message or profile, and email us at [email protected]. We review every report we receive.
Where required by law, we report apparent child sexual abuse material or exploitation to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and to law enforcement.
Accounts that violate these standards are removed. Members can also delete their own account and data at any time in the app. See our Privacy Policy.
