I'm originally from Naperville, Illinois, and I love it there — but Ames has grown on me too. Outside of class and code, you'll usually find me playing soccer, messing around on guitar or making music, or just chilling out and having a good time with friends.
Every summer I work as a lifeguard back home — five years and counting — which honestly teaches you a lot about staying calm and paying attention, which turns out to be pretty useful for debugging too.
I build apps because I like making things people actually use. I want to keep them free — no paywalls, no locked features. Eventually I'd like to build my own company, but I know that starts with small blocks stacked one at a time. Homeward is one of those blocks.
