These terms apply when you install or use Lemon Chilli. Please read them.
By installing or using Lemon Chilli (“the app”) you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. The app is provided by OrgHubs (“we”, “us”).
Lemon Chilli lets you keep, organize, scale and cook from recipes stored on your device. It can import a recipe from a web page or a video link you choose, split recipe text you paste into ingredients and steps, read text from a photo on your device, read steps aloud and take short voice commands on your device, run cooking timers, and share recipes and cookbooks as files, PDFs or pictures, or back them up.
You keep all rights to the recipes, notes and photos you add. We do not claim ownership and do not receive them. Because your recipes live on your device, you are responsible for keeping backups. Use Settings to back up, or turn on iCloud sync on iOS. We cannot recover recipes from a lost or reset phone.
When you import a recipe from a web page, the page and its content belong to their owners. You are responsible for having the right to save and use what you import, and for respecting the source's terms and copyright. Imported recipes are for your personal use. Do not use the app to republish content you do not have rights to. This also applies to text you paste and to captions, descriptions and comments read from video and social pages: they belong to their creators, and you are responsible for having the right to save and use them. When you open a recipe file from someone else, only open files from sources you trust.
When you share a recipe, cookbook, PDF or picture, you decide who receives it. Do not share content you do not have the right to share. You choose whether your personal “My notes” are included.
Do not use the app to break the law, to infringe anyone's rights, to interfere with other services, or to try to reverse engineer or tamper with the app except where the law allows it.
Recipes, ingredient conversions, scaling, ingredient swaps and their dietary labels (such as dairy-free or gluten-free), timers and cooking suggestions are provided for convenience. They can be wrong, including because of errors in imported or scanned text. Always check quantities, temperatures, cooking times, labels and allergen information yourself, and follow safe food-handling practice. We are not responsible for food safety, allergic reactions, or results of any recipe.
The app is a one-time purchase through the App Store or Google Play. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies. There is no subscription and no advertising.
We may update or change the app and these terms. Material changes will be described in the app's release notes or this page. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept it.
The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We do not guarantee that it will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that imported, scanned or converted information will be accurate.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the app.
The app relies on services you control or choose: the operating system's share sheet, iCloud (iOS, if you turn sync on), the App Store or Google Play, and the web sites you import from. Their terms apply to those services.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Illinois, unless your local law gives you other rights.
