By creating an account or using Prof Network, you agree to these Terms.
Who can use Prof Network
Prof Network is invite- and approval-based. You may sign up, but you will not see any member content until your community's Committee or Admin approves your membership.
You must provide accurate profile information, and if you are a minor participating through a sponsored mentorship track, accurate parent/guardian contact information.
One account per person. No sharing accounts or impersonating another person.
How it works
Approved members can build a profile, apply to mentor or be mentored, post and browse jobs and events, and join circles within their own community.
Communities on Prof Network are separate from one another. You only see members, jobs, events, and circles belonging to your own community's admin.
There is no open member-to-member chat. You can message your community's Admin/Committee directly, and the app can notify interested members about content you post, but you cannot message another member directly.
Conduct — the rules
By using Prof Network, you agree not to:
Harass, threaten, or discriminate against any other member.
Post false, misleading, or fraudulent job listings, events, or profile information.
Share another member's private contact information without their permission.
Use the app to solicit business, spam, or advertise unrelated products or services.
Attempt to access a community you have not been approved for, or another member's private data.
Reverse-engineer, scrape, or otherwise abuse the app or its API.
Reporting and enforcement
Report a concern to your community's Admin/Committee in-app, or to us directly at [email protected].
Your community's Committee/Admin can review member profiles, posts, and private contact details for the members they administer, solely to review new members, respond to reports, and enforce these Terms.
A community's Admin can suspend or remove a member who breaks these rules, at their discretion.
Your account and content
You keep ownership of the profile information, job listings, event posts, and circle posts you create. You grant Prof Network the right to display them to your community's approved members.
You can delete your account at any time in Settings. That permanently removes your profile, private details, memberships, and content, and cannot be undone.
No guarantees
Prof Network is provided "as is." We don't guarantee mentorship matches, job outcomes, event accuracy, or uptime.
We are not responsible for the conduct, qualifications, or claims of any other member, mentor, or employer posting through the app. Use your own judgment when connecting with people or applying to jobs found here.
To the maximum extent allowed by law, Prof Network and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continuing to use Prof Network after a change means you accept it.
